There's no escaping it (unless you skip the country that is!) it's bloomin' freezing in the UK right now, making your coat the most vital style choice of the moment. And we couldn't help but notice that lots of our favourite, stylish A-listers must too be feeling the cold, as they wrap up in all manner of chic coats. From Diane Kruger, who took to the red carpet in a faux fur number, to Anne Hathway's off-duty Michael Kors blanket coat, there's more fashion statements to be made with outerwear than you might think!

1. The faux fur coat: mastered by Diane Kruger (see gallery above) is without doubt the most glamourous coat option around, very warm and cosy, it's old Hollywood connotations make it the perfect choice for after dark but don't be afraid to wear your leopard print by day too, thrown over a pair of jeans and simple jumper you'll be surprised at the instant glam results!
